Guidelines and Policies
Provided herein are various important items for the Varsity, JV and Intermediate Referees and Crew Members of the Oahu Football Officials Association, which will ensure that Officials are addressing relevant matters consistently, as well as timely.
Experience teaches that adherence to such items ensure that the Officials are all doing our part to properly serve the leagues, and maintain safety for the Crew members.
By virtue of accepting a game assignment in the current season, you will acknowledge, accept and abide with the Guidelines and Polices noted herein.
All Officials are Independent contractors and NOT employees of the Leageus, State of Hawaii Department of Education, nor the OFOA. Thus each Official, Timer, Box and Chain Gang member assume his/her own personal liability, as well as being responsible for personal injuries, loss of income, etc. By virtue of accepting a game assignment in the current season you will acknowledge, accept and abide with these conditions. The HFHS and NASO have great insurance plans at reasonable cost that you may consider for purchase. Completed and signed registration forms are required.
